Live Compression Results
01 Engine Configuration
Milwaukee-Eight only. Choose a factory baseline, then independently select bore and stroke or type custom dimensions. All bore/stroke combinations are permitted mathematically, but not all are mechanically compatible. Confirm crankcase, cylinder, piston, rod, and clearance fitment before building. Verify all actual part dimensions.
02 Combustion Chamber & Piston
Positive deck = piston protrudes above the cylinder deck. Negative deck = piston sits below the cylinder deck. Enter dome volume as a positive number; enter dish volume as a negative number. Dome reduces clearance volume; dish increases it. Chamber preset figures are reference values only, not verified measurements; always confirm the actual parts.
03 Cam Timing
Choose a cam to load its IVC. Published checking-height IVC is not seat IVC; compression results are provisional until seat timing is verified.
Cam dropdown specifications are informational only; enter manufacturer-confirmed seat intake closing to calculate. Use the same timing reference for all cams: advertised/seat intake closing, in crankshaft degrees after bottom dead center. Do not mix 0.050-inch tappet timing with advertised timing. Positive cam advance closes intake earlier.
